摘要

The development of Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) in general and Software in particular play a central role in stimulating industrial productivity, tending to facilitate reorganization of production processes, logistics and distribution, as well as control over value chains and marketing, generating a higher level of value added tax on the final product and creating the possibility of promoting growth in various branches and industries. This incorporation requires a thorough knowledge of what already exists, because it is not possible to develop strategies for technological integration aimed at a conversion in the value chains without information on ICTs installed and used in the different processes. The line of investigation presented in this article is part of a research project that aims to study the different types of Software products and ICTs which are adapted by the industrial sectors in La Matanza (Buenos Aires, Argentina), and the idea is to introduce different criteria for the creation of tools for survey and spot the needs of development and implementation of Software in the value chains based on a set of indicators that could help measuring the integration of ICTs in the industry in order to establish strategies for improvements in productivity and innovation.
