The way pirated media content is both createdand consumed has changed dramatically since the advent ofIP video and OTT distribution. The same infrastructure andtools that have revolutionized video distribution andenabled an explosion of content have also been exploited bypirates for illicit redistribution. As piracy increasinglyinvolves repackaging channels and other stolen content intowhat often appear to consumers like legitimate pay-TVservices, anti-piracy systems must offer new methods thatbear down on the latest piracy techniques. This paper willsuggest three main layers of security: prevention,monitoring and traceability.
