The objective of this paper is to introduce a novel long glass fiber reinforced PVC composite prepared using newly patented technology. These new composites offer an excellent balance of properties including high stiffness and strength, high heat distortion temperature, good impact resistance even at low temperatures along with excellent fire resistance. We are exploring several applications including new building materials such as roofing, siding and flooring along with other industrial, automotive and transportation applications.
