At Chester Business School, level 3 degree students are expected to develop a level of independence and be responsible for their own learning - this is evidenced in the materials we prepare for them, e.g. module handbooks, 'pointers' to further reading, etc. However, the tools' that we give them for achieving this independent learning may be subject to question. We expect the students to become independent learners - but can we do more to help them to achieve this skill? This project considers reflection as a methodology for enhancing the learning experience.
