摘要

Hepatocyte growth factor (HGF) was a heparin-binding glycoprotein which could stimulate strongly hepatocytes division [1,2,3]. During the past ten years, many biologists had done a lot of works about HGF [4,5,6]. But the heparin -sepharose gel (made by Pharmacia Company) is very expensive, so the purification of HGF in large amounts is limited. In this paper, using heparin -sepharose 4B (self-prepared) chromatography as the first-step, we purified the HGF from new-born cow liver and determined its bioactivity.
