In this paper, we study the transition phase in the network connectivity. We focus on the transformation of network starting from partition to connected state as node density increases. During the node density increasing process, the connectivity transition is studied based on percolation theory so as to derive the related critical time points. Specifically, we firstly derive the lower and upper bound of critical density against node transmission range. Then, we make use of three growth functions of node to obtain the first connection time and total connection time which denote the points when the node densities reach the lower and upper bound of critical value respectively. The simulation demonstrates the evolution of network in terms of the connectivity and gives the connection times with three different growth models.
