The paper outlines the result of a three-year research project concerning the use of multimedia and ICT in primary schools in Austria. The aim of the study was to evaluate the efficiency of learning with multimedia applications and to develop didactic models for learning with new media as well as a model for an ICT curriculum for primary schools.
