摘要

The article is devoted to the use of information technologies in study of environmental courses by students, one of which is to determine the noise levels from power plant's equipment. The possibilities of modern information technologies on the example of acoustic calculations from power plants with gas turbine units of different capacity are shown. Modern software packages for modeling objects with 3D visualization of the results obtained with different configurations of the equipment and its arrangement, as well as the placement of residential areas in relation to energy facilities allow students to comprehensively analyze the features of noise propagation, as well as to develop the necessary measures for noise reduction.
