A chemical fiber group's self-provided heat power plant was taken as an example, and its advantage was discussed from two points of energy saving and environment. It was emphasized that the combined heat, power and cooling(CCHP) was conditioned. First an analysis was made based on energy-saving mathematical model of CCHP. Some problems were found, which existed in the operation of the heat power plant, and some methods were held out to improve them. Then the fluctuation tendency of pollutant concentration around the plant areas of cogeneration was reviewed and generation of heat and power was separated, and it is concluded that the combined heat and power (CHP) system has great superiority to the environment.
