Product life cycle theory has been a key organizing principle in studies of product innovation over the last 30 years. Every product has its own specific life cycle. The four stages of product life cycle formed a geometric parabola. Logistic model has been proposed to simulate the traditional product life cycle and analyze the market extension features of Chinese auto products, by contrasting the extension speed and product structure of cars, buses and trucks, it is discovered that China's automobile product extension follows the rule of logistic model, China's auto products have already been in the stage of maturity. By studying and analyzing the time and efficiency parameter of Chinese automobile products, it is found out that China's automobile market is accessing to the period of segmentation, cars and the mini-sized automobiles are important forces for the development of Chinese automotive industry.
