Matching Studying of Manufacturing Resource in Scalable Batch Production

Scalable batch production is a kind of advanced manufacturing mode. One restriction to carry out this mode is manufacturing resource. Appropriate process routes are very import to any batch. By studying the matching of process step with its corresponding equipment, many routes of process can be obtained. To meet the demand of variety of the batch, the hierarchy database of manufacturing resource is established, it includes three hierarchies. According to the request of batch, different hierarchy is employed, and the expectation of value can be given ahead, then the matrix of manufacturing resource and the expectation can be work out. By compounding the expectation matrix with matrix of capability of resource, we can obtain the redundance of capability. Considering the redundance as candidates and process step as activities, the minimum sum of redundance as target value, matching becomes a special assignment problem. Adding dummy work and replacing negative element with positive one, special assignment problem can be changed into general assignment problem, the result of the matching is achieved by "Hungary Algorithm". Adjusting the expectation or hierarchy of database, repeating matching in this way, many routes of process can be obtained. At last, a numerical example is illustrated to validate this proposed method.
