摘要

The algorithm studied in this paper may be an alternative to Monte Carlo simulations, due to the fact that its complexity does not depends on the failure probability to be assessed. It only depends on the number of discretization points chosen for each component of the random vector and its dimension. This paper proposes some axes to reduce the number of simulations. The results obtained by the method are close to those yielded by crude Monte Carlo simulation. Despite this, if the number of variables is very large, it may not be possible to use this method.
