R.C. structures in corrosive environment sometimes are attacked by several corrosive factors, such as carbon dioxide, chloride ions, sulfate or sulfuric acid. In the present paper, the reliability analysis for such R.C. structures is conducted using system reliability method. The failure modes of R.C. structures caused by corrosive factors are discussed. An algorithm for calculating joint failure probability of different failure modes is presented. The influence of the correlation of failure modes to the reliability of R.C. structures is taken into account. An example is given to illustrate the application of the method.
