This paper uses numerical calculation based on the partial differential equations of impulse test circuits to obtain impulses with overshoot. The frequency limits of the overshoot have been calculated. The double exponential fits of the impulses were obtained for calculation of the overshoot amplitudes and their errors. The total uncertainty of the test voltage in the presence of overshoot has also been estimated including uncertainty sources due to curve fitting, filtering and the test voltage factor function itself.
