In order to fulfill a new idea in water quality monitoring and a strategy of impelling water conservancy modernization by informalization, to fully undertake the responsibility of water resources protection for the basin, and to bring the water quality monitoring into play as a piquet effectively so as to achieve the goal of "pollution within the limint" , the Yellow River water Resources Protection Bureau has put forward an important technical measure of expedite the establishment of informalization and atomization of water resources protection and water quality monitoring in the Yellow River Basin , which is reflected by the automatic reconstruction of the Yellow River water Quality Monitoring Laboratory. This work will be carried out in the way of technical integration of introducing, absorbing, digesting, improving and self-developing, and following the principles of overall planning and respective implementation to aim at the improvement of the system' s technical level. After its completion, the system automation in respect of management, data processing and operational supervision on large-sized instruments will be realized in a harmonious mode, that will make the labor, fund and material of the laboratory form an optimal combination to avoid unnecessary waste, to increase both time effectiveness of water quality data and reliability of water quality monitoring.
