We present in this paper the potential of research and development of Brittany in the fields ofrnITS. Very recently, we develop strong partnership between academic and industrialrnlaboratories in order to reinforce the territory of Brittany in the west part of France. Thern"Cotes d'Armor Council" participate very actively at the development of this partnership andrninvest in the development of the technical and experimental platform of the "Vehipole" andrnthe "Future Road" Ploufragan near the town of St Brieuc. At the end of 2003, a scientificrnGroup called "GIS ITS Bretagne" was created to coordinate these actions.
