Prior to an investment decision regarding a plot of land located in Romania, it is advisable that a thorough analysis of the legal issues related to such plot is undertaken. Given that in case of ownership transfers by means of agreement, the validity of the current owner's ownership title is influenced by the validity of previous transfers, a due diligence legal report is very important for a safe transaction. Moreover, the city planning requirements should be assessed in order to identify any possible constraints for developing a certain real estate project.
