It is amazing to see how suddenly solar civilization started unfolding so rapidly after the signing of Paris Climate Agreement on 12 december 2015. Poised between the demands of quality and quantity, the photovoltaic industry in 2016 took on its global role. This paper is a thought-exercise in bringing the energy transition forward to facilitate the needed end to global CO_2 emissions.
