摘要

Today, there is an increasing need for technology transfer from public institutes to private companies; However, the average royalty and the number of technology transfers is generally low. Both a direct technology transfer support program and an indirect networking system with the enactment of law are required. This paper shows the national status of support for technology transfer, especially regarding the role of the TLO (Technology Licensing Office). It introduces the case of the DPF Plasma technology transfer in order to derive the implications of a successful transfer. The success factor of technology transfer largely depends on the transfer procedures based on national settings, such as the enactment of related laws and nationwide connecting programs.
