摘要

The present study evaluated the performance of a slide-open-type diaphragmless shock tube applied to a ballast water treatment system. The experimental and computational results showed that the opening time of the shock tube inlet can be shortened when a magnetic force is applied to the piston valve. As a next step, we will consider an effective generation method for underwater shock waves using the present diaphragmless shock tube.
