摘要

Nanofluids with metal-nanoparticles are being used in heat transfer applications in miniature systems through micro channels. Due to agglomeration the size of the nanoparticles increases and reduces the efficiency of heat transfer rate over a period of time. To disperse nanoparticles stirring, sonication and high pressure homogenizer techniques are in practice. An attempt is made to disperse the nanoparticles by generating moderate strength shock waves produced by Reddy tube and the results are presented in this paper.
