As one of the main carriers of the ideological and political education in colleges and universities under the new situation, the ideological and political website bears tremendous functions and important roles. Firstly, it provides guidance and help for teachers and students to learn, work and grow up. Secondly, it provides a network community of the ideological and emotional exchanges for teachers and students. Thirdly, it provides the timely interpretation and correction for the focus and hot issues inside and outside schools. Fourth, it can play a role in maintaining the safety and stability of the schools. Therefore, strengthening the construction of the ideological and political websites in the new era is still an important way of the ideological and political education in colleges and universities at this stage.
