In this paper, a nonlinear pantograph-catenary model is constructed. First, the effect of the pantograph parameters on the pantograph frequency response of is analyzed. Then, the matching performance between the pantograph parameters and dropper intervals is obtained based on the analysis results. An optimization strategy is proposed to avoid the resonance of the pantograph and catenary. Finally, several catenary-pantograph simulation experiments are implemented to verify the validity of the proposed optimization strategy. It is found that the contact force variation has a significant decrease with the optimization parameters of pantograph.
