This paper considers the controller design problem for mean-square asymptotical synchronization of discrete-time neural networks with time-varying delay. By applying Lyapunov function method, a delay-dependent sufficient condition is proposed and formulated in the form of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). Meanwhile, the feedback controller is derived to guarantee the asymptotical stability of the master-slave system. The nonlinearity in controller is taken into consideration during the process of controller design. A numerical example is presented to illustrate the effectiveness of proposed method.
