摘要

This paper investigates and describes the performance of a stand-alone hydro matrix power wheels (HMPW) station. This proposed station is mainly contains nine induction generators coupling with nine water wheels turbines, DC-Link and the loads. The suggested station is proposed to be operated in specific main channel in River Nile in Egypt. It is assumed that the water flow rate is varied and the load AC voltage can be adjusted through the DC-Link. A MATLAB function that simulates water wheel is obtained and implemented. The system performance is tested against water velocity variations and at static and dynamic load conditions.
