Piracy is a great threat to digital media. One of those media is music. Music piracy is visible to everyone, yet it is unknown to many. Due to lack of proper knowledge about music piracy, people engage themselves into doing piracy unintentionally. Though music piracy is a global threat to music industries and musicians all over the world, in this paper, the researchers have worked on the music piracy of Bangladeshi music industry with the help of Behavioral Model. This behavioral model has been used to get the main factors behind the actual music piracy that are taking place in everyday life. In this study, the researchers have used quantitative data and the method used for this study is questionnaire. The musicians along with the music industry of Bangladesh are greatly affected by this piracy. This study has suggested many factors from which a major outcome has emerged. That outcome is, a crucial social awareness among the common folks is needed to eradicate music piracy as mainly the common people are unconsciously doing it. In this regard, the behavioral model will be a new useful approach for correcting the piracy situation in Bangladeshi music industry. People can be aware of the law regarding piracy and it will help the Bangladeshi music industry in future and also help significantly the cyber security agencies to ensure security over internet.
