Based on the speed effect detector of electrode motion to the target developed by our team independently, multiple experiments have been exerted repeatedly under the condition of changing moving speed of the electrode and changing polarity of the discharge electrode. Exploring based on analysis of the experimental data was conducted for obtaining the relationship between parameters of peak discharge current, rise time and polarity of discharge electrode. The results shown that, at charged voltage to be positive 3kV, or negative 3kV, the peak voltage of discharge current at positive polarity is distinguished higher than that at negative polarity. The rising speed of discharge current pulse in negative polarity, at the same time, is clearly less than that in positive polarity. The work finished in this paper may benefit to promoting research on the test standard of non-contact electrostatic discharge.
