摘要

The objective of this paper is to present a continual contacting model of hinge component for high velocity motional mechanism in order to solve the kinematical reliability problems of hinge mechanism with the kinematic pair clearances. From the viewpoint of engineering, the kinematic pair clearances caused by manufacturing defect and wear-out are always existent in hinge component. Based on the mechanical reliability theory, the kinematical reliability for a slider-crank mechanism taking account of kinematic pair clearances and link dimension tolerances is discussed by use of the continual contacting model and the non-continual contacting model of hinge component. The application is provided to show the effect of clearances to kinematical reliability of the slider-crank mechanism. The results prove that the continual contacting model is more suitable for high velocity motional mechanism.
