摘要

The coordination between the Urban Traffic Control(UTC) and the Urban Traffic Guidance (UTG) is one of the most essential problems of urban traffic management. In this paper, it is demonstrated that the influence of UTC and UTG upon the whole traffic system is non-equilibrium when the system approaches the critical point, and UTG is the dominating factor (also called Order Parameter) which determines the evolution of the whole system. A traffic flow assignment model is then proposed based on the slaving principle of synergetic theory. This model can be used to analyze the collaboration between UTC and UTG, and its feasibility is validated through simulations.
