摘要

Web mining is a new developing discipline, it has remarkable behavior on the data gathering and processing of the abundant non-structural data at network age. Scientific and technological administrators and policymakers are all full of interests in its applications in the future, however, what are the aspects that WM can use and what are the specific applications? How much the role that Web mining can put into the field of technology management in the future? After the study both in-depth, this paper puts forward the concept that the science and technology (S&T) Web mining, describes the present application situation and predicts its prospect of applications, and analyzes the technological difficult points to be solved in the future.
