Business students very often shy away from production and operations management (POM) courses since they feel far away from POM reality, especially the physical engineering aspect.Management game provides an opportunity for students to be actively involved in education process and obtain hands-on experience. However, there are not many POM specific games and most POM games do not incorporate physical processes. Those few POM games with physical process are mostly very complex and expensive.This paper will report the design, implementation, and evaluation of a simple, cheap and green game for promoting active learning in POM courses.
