摘要

Three-dimensional model simulation of air pollutants representing complex processes ofemission, transport, chemical reaction, and deposition, can provide the worthy information tounderstand their behavior. Although it has been recognized as one of necessary methods to fosterour understanding, we should take into accounts its uncertainties embedded in each process(Carmichael et al., 2008a). Therefore, the interpretation based on one model could causemisunderstanding of phenomena due to its uncertainty. To overcome this limitation, the valuableapproach is model inter-comparison study, and over Asia where experiencing severe air pollutionproblems, the Model Inter-Comparison Study over Asia (MICS-Asia) have been conducted.
