With the popularity of smart phones, equipping mobile phones with educational games helps to improve learners’ motivation and effectiveness. Taking the RETAIN model as the theoretical basis, educational game is designed after analyzing the feature of pharmacology, the teaching content, and learner characteristics. Based on these analysis results, game positioning, type, and specific game design is carried out. This design is combined with teaching content effectively, which can be used to assist in teaching and cultivate the learners’ professional identity at the same time. A certain degree of openness in designing allows it to be promoted to other courses related to medicine and health.
