摘要

The aim of the present work is to study the decomposition of halogenated organic compounds. CF4 was used to simulate halogenated molecules since it allows to study the fluorine-carbon bond dissociation and fluorine elimination processes. Experiments have been performed in a RF low-pressure plasma reactor. On-line mass spectrometry and off-line gas chromatography were used for a qualitative and quantitative analysis of the effluents. Parameters studied are the power, the added oxygen and calcium oxide particles. The main results are the formation of phosgenes when oxygen is added. The use of a fluidized bed in the plasma can reduce dramatically toxic effluents.
