摘要

This study provides a guideline in phase selection in it plasma spray coating process of molybdenum silicide and alumina. The us flight treatment of powders was carried out in an Ar-H2 RF induction pland, In the plasma-treated molybdenum silicide powders, metastable hexagon,, i structure of (3-MoSi2 is the major phase. Similarly, in the alumina powtku metastable y, 8 and 9-Al2O3 can be the prevailing phases. The reason of ck formation of metastable phase in the plasma process is explained by comparison of the critical free energy for homogeneous nucleation from lkfua 3 droplets.
