In this paper, the fluid-structure interaction under the lock-in regime is investigated the flow past a freely vibrating circular cylinder by 3-D numerical simulations. When the lock-in regime is realized, the three kinds of frequencies, those are the vortex shedding frequency, the body oscillation frequency and the body natural frequency considered the virtual mass effect, are coincided each other and the vortex street is redistributed to be switched over from one row to two.
