摘要

Conversion of precursor polymer into PPV by XeCl Excimer laser annealing has been successfully made. Under operating condition (20mJ/cm~2, 10Hz) of XeCl Eximer laser-beam, heat elimination reaction of precursor polymer was well carried out within 20 seconds. The material and optical characteristics of light-emitting PPV obtained by laser-beam conversion process were almost same as those by conventional thermal process. However, very quick tack time for light-emitting PPV could be achieved by laser-beam conversion process. It was also observed that the surface morphologies of polymer film through laser-beam conversion process could be improved, comparing to one through conventional thermal method.
