摘要

The emergence and growth of wireless networks is driven by the need to lower the cost associated with network infrastructures by deploying wireless network that offer access flexibility, at an affordable costs. Proliferation of wireless data communication and the Internet in urban areas have changed how people and business communicate. This is not the case in rural areas of developing countries where 80% of the population is found. In this paper we are proposing flexible network for Internet services using CDMA access, which has the potential to cover longer ranges characteristics of rural areas. We study performance of the Rake receiver with Parallel Interference Canceller (PlC) structure in mitigating the multiple access interference in rural multipath channel.
