ⅰ) KC play an important role in eliminating colon cancer cells in the early onset of liver metastasis; ⅱ) a minority of the CC531s cells escapes from the host defense and are probably responsible for the formation of subcapsular metastasis; and ⅲ) only 5-16% of the KC interact with CC531s cells, which opens the possibility to activate and involve the remaining KC population.
