摘要

Studies have shown that adding prostaglandin (PG) F_(2 alpha) to extended boar semen has a positive influence on in vivo fertility (1). This can be explained partially by the fact that PGF_(2 alpha) stimulates the myometrial contractility and that itcan improve synchronisation between the moment of artificial insemination and ovulation (2). However, since sperm motility may be affected by PGF_(2 alpha), the objective of our experiments was to evaluate this hypothesis by adding different concentrations of Dinolytic~(R) (Pharmacia Animal Health) to semen and to assess motility parameters by two automated systems, the Sperm Quality Analyzer (SQA-IIC) and the Autosperm.
