摘要

Fiber lasers feature high brightness. Most applications require a high magnification factor due to the very small fiber diameter. This, for its part, generates an increased laser-induced focus shift which is caused by absorption of laser power in the optical elements. As it is described, magnification is very important. Physics is unfortunately the limiting factor here. Good optical correction of such a system is more important than a minor residual focus shift. Furthermore, the laser must be adapted as far as possible to the customer's planned application.
