摘要

Aluminum-based particulate reinforced metal matrix composites (MMCs) are of interest for structural applications. It is widely recognized that the mechanical properties of metal matrix composites (MMCs) are controlled by the size and volume fraction of the reinforcements as well as the nature of the matrix-reinforcement interface. Superior mechanical properties can be achieved, when fine and stable reinforcements with good interfacial bonding are dispersed uniformly in the matrix.
