The diagnosis of acute optic neuritis (ON) can be difficult as presenting signs and symptoms vary. Several studies have shown that Ocular Echography can quantify increases in optic nerve diameter (OND) in ON. The aim of this study is to evaluate the use of standardised A and B scan Echography as a diagnostic marker for this condition.
