摘要

FD-ESI, a two-stage electrospray ionization method, has been used to successfully ionize small or large biological molecules. The aqueous sample solution is first dispersed into a fine mist of droplets by a pneumatic nebulizer. The gas-phase analytes or neutral droplets are post-ionized through fusing or reacting with the charged solvent species generated by ESI.1-4 The advantage of using FD-ESI for chemical analysis is that the ionization and droplet nebulization processes are separate events; this feature provides independent control over the conditions of the sample solution and the composition of the ESI solvent.3-5 Herein, we report a temperature variable sample introduction system from -100 to + deg C 1,000 deg C for FD-ESI source.
