摘要

Metabolomics approach could provide a sensitive means to understand the regulatory mechanisms in S. aureus. In the present study, the pattern of metabolite changes were consistent with the known targets of the tested peptidoglycan biosynthesis inhibitors, and were also suggestive of several potential metabolite level regulatory loops.
