摘要

There are many causative agents of abortion and stillbirth in pigs. The agents causing abortion and stillbirth are transmitted via physical contact,milk, contaminated semen, and aerosol transmission. Since semen is widely disseminated for artificial insemination and reproductive diseases can cause significant health and economic consequences, it is essential to have well-validated, rapid diagnostic techniques like PCR to detect diseases for diagnostic and research purposes( 1). But, because some factors of sperm head inhibit extraction of viral DNA/RNA, it is difficult to detect viral antigens in semen. The purpose of this study is to detect of viral antigens causing abortion and stillbirth in semen from boars of Korean Al centers.
