摘要

Discovery phase (I): Differential abundances of glycoproteins were characterised by comparing cancer tissue to matched controls using quantitative MS. Verification phase (II): Absolute quantities of biomarker candidates spanned concentrations from micrograms to low nanograms per milliliter of plasma, which is the range of tissue leakage products of interest. Validation phase (III): Regulated candidates will be screened across a larger cohort of patients to surmount variation of a population and to assess their specificity and sensitivity.
