The relationship between the pattern of attachment to mother and using of coping strategies was studied. It was proved that secure attached younger students use more effective coping strategies, the children with an ambivalent attachment patterns prefer the strategy of social support, and children with avoidant and disorganized attachment - avoidance strategy. "Difficult situation" were identified and described by younger students. It was revealed that the evaluation of difficult situations depends on the type of child's attachment. It was cleared that the type of family education causes coping strategy. Authoritative parenting is associated with constructive coping strategies, but authoritarian - with avoidance.
