There is increasing evidence that radio frequency electromagnetic fields (RF-EMF) alter the expression of heat shock proteins (HSPs) activating stress-response pathways. However, the evidence suggesting altered gene and protein expression in response to RF-EMF, with particular focus on HSPs remains contradictory.
