Considerable experiments and our previous studies showed acute microwave irradiation can cause obvious immune injury of living body. However; the effects and mechanisms of acute millimeter wave (MMW) irradiation on immune tissue are still unknown.-Therefore, in this experiment, we observed the effects of 35GHz MMW radiation on spleen and thymus indexes and the contents of cytokines of IL-1β IL-2, IL-4, IFN-y in mouse serum and analyzed the changes of Thl /Th2 function subpopulations after acute MMW irradiation, expecting that our research could provide some new in sight into the molecular mechanism of immune injury induced by MMW radiation.
